The pattern has been well documented by now. The same thing happened to me as reported by others. Free product, just pay S&H, product arrives and shortly thereafter $189.95 is taken from my bank. Calling customer service is a time-consuming waste. I was cutoff after being on hold for 30 minutes. I sent emails and have not received a response. Another, unordered product just arrived and charges have been taken from my bank account for S&H. This is a scam and must be stopped. The product is a joke.

Ordered Quickbooks and like others, unwanted programs came, no warning, and the $189 was charged way out ahead. The 2nd and 3rd were charged very close together, not even 30 days. I called the 800 on my charge card and complained to the rep. We send out DVDs that we thing you will like. Yeah, right. They gave me return codes and I am boxing up the one I have and will have to box up the other when it comes. She said, oh, it's already been shipped. Yeah, right. If I don't get satisfaction I will dispute with credit card since it's business card. It's pretty obvious this guy is scamming for as much cash flow as possible up front, as we all can't afford to go after him, and he risks losing just whoever takes the time to get their money back. Why hasn't this guy been stopped? We need a class action suit!

I ordered the free e-bay lesson, just pay the $6.95 for shipping. There was a charge on my credit card for $189 and change. I called to complain and was told I ordered the 3rd disc that was not free. I didn't. They told me to return the disc and they would credit me the amount. I returned the same day and as of yet, I have not seen the credit on my card. When I ordered, there was no mention about additional discs or charges. I feel their ad is misleading and bordering on fraud.

Ok I have had the same problem contacting them as well. We can start a class action suite. It should be easy to find a lawyer that will take o the case. In fact it may come under the RICO law Racketeering and other laws could have been broken. If he used the U.S. mail he can be in violation of postal laws. If anyone wants to pursue this matter I would join the suite, I believe they figure we won't get together because there isn't enough money involved.

I am very disappointed with this product! I called and called this company to get the charge of $189.00 off of my debit card. Nothing has been done. Can you please help me to cancel my account with them? I do not have any money to throw away on such nonsense!

I bought a Vista product for my mother. They deducted the money for that. Next two boxes of material arrive from them that I had not ordered. I refused both shipments and the PO sent them back. Within a 30 day period, they hit my account for 189.85 twice! I covered it the first time to avoid bouncing checks. The second time I went to my bank and filed a fraud account so that the credit card was closed. Sent a report to the BBB, Attorney General, then same complaint to the CEO. Eight letters from company, two letters from my bank, and note from BBB. Money was restored. Never buy from them again!!!!

I ordered the supposedly FREE Ebay CD which I have never received. Now my credit card is being billed $189 monthly for CD's that I never ordered. I'm contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges.

I recently ordered the lession on Windows Vista for my daughter, who's co just switched over to from XP. Big mistake. Like many of you I just noticed a charge on my [] account for $189. What a scam. I did report it to [], but sense it is in the Temp Authorized they cannot do anything until the $ is taken from my account. What a scam artist that commercial is.

I purchased the Learn Ebay product for a Christmas gift and the next thing I see the company has taken $189.95 out of my account. I've tried calling them at their toll free number and you can't get anyone except their automated system. So I faxed them...who knows where that went. All I know is if I don't hear from them in two days I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau! Them taking this money really hurts.

Dear Fellow Complainers - Thank You for all of your input. Many years ago I purchased Video Professor and actually forgot about the hell they nearly put me through. Although, I have not had the experiences to the degree you all have had; I do recall having an excessive charge on my debit card and immediately cancelled the card for a new one. So the damage was minimal, but I had actually forgotten the experience and was ready to purchase the product again. Thanks to the internet and having Googled the VP site; stumbled over this complaint forum. A sour reminder that will allow me to rest easier knowing that I didn't get sucker'd again. I appreciate the wake up call. Thank You and God Bless. Sincerly Billy Bob.

Initially ordered the Video Professor Excell program which was disappointing, but I kept it and paid for it. I also received a copy of their Word program which again I did not order. A week ago I received Power Point for $189.95 which I did -Not- order at all. How can I stop them from sending me any more material? Contacting them is very difficult. Can you assist me in getting a refund?

I called the 1-800 number after watching one of the video professor comercials. I called the number had to give them a credit card number and was sent the product. About a month later I receive an email saying my next video is on it's way and see that my cc is charged $69.95. I emailed back and never heard a thing. Again the next month the same thing. I was on vacation at the time and had to go through the hassle of canceling my cc to get them to stop billing me for video's I never told them I wanted. I want my money back and they can have everyone of there 4 videos they sent me. I never opened them.

I responded to an offer of one computer disc for free and to just send it back within 10 days. I got the disc one day and a complete(unordered) course. I mailed both back to the company the next day both within the time limit. On the 10th day $189.00 was withdrawn from my account before there was enough there to cover the withdrawal. I got a $27.00 fee charge for insufficient funds. I called today and was told by Mary that my refnd was being added to my account would be there in three days. From what I read this is a common practice of the company. Hang in there and don't give up, keep workking trying to get your promised money. This seems to be a common practice with this company and they should be made to pay those who cheat. Ross

My son, fresh from basic training in the Army ordered the free cd and has been recieving them since. He recently had to close his account because of this mess. He ,just returning, had money in the bank he had recieved from the Army. Guess what? It's all gone due to these charges and overdraft fees. He has been totally ripped off and the poor child has very little now to show for all his hard work and dedication. I hope this is stopped vey soon.

I spoke to a salesperson on the telephone for quite a while before ordering the video professor and was assured that there were no strings attached, that after I received the initial package if I cancelled my membership within the allotted 10 day period there would be no problems. I gave up my debit card number and ordered the E bay lesson. The lesson was free and I was to be charged only $4.85 for S&H. I received the video professor E-Bay lesson along with two non-ordered lessons sent as bonuses. The next day I called and cancelled my membership and was assured that all was properly taken care of and that my membership was appropriately cancelled and that no further action would be necessary. On 10/9/08 the fee of $4.85 was subtracted from my debit card for the S&H. On 10/13 a debit of $19.95 was entered on my debit card. I called and adamantly demanded that the funds be returned to my account and that this matter be straightend out. I was then assured that it would be taken care of and that the money would be returned but that it could take up to 10 days for the funds to be returned. On 10/23 the $19.95 monthly membership fee was back on my account. Now the real nightmare begins, also on 10/23/08, $189.95 was charged to my debit card and with great struggle I got that money back on 10/30. This caused me great strife as this was a substantial part of my rent money. So in all after my dealings with the video professor after returning all of thier product, I am out the $4.85 S&H, and the $7.65 it cost me to return it. The way I figure it, a lesson from the video professor costs as follows: cost for S&H..............$ 4.85 cost for membership.......$ 19.95 cost for v. prof. lesson..$ 189.95 cost for stress..........PRICELESS

This was about three years ago and it seems he is stil up and operating and still taking advantage of the public. Sorry to hear he is now charging hundreds of dollars for his product instead of the amount I paid. TV advertisement says the cd is free just pay S&H. What they don't tell you is they include two other cd's that are not free and if you fail to read the fine print where it tells you the return policy and miss the deadline of 10 days they bill your credit card $69.95. You don't realize it until the get the charge of $6.95 and then an additional charge of $69.95. Then you call and it takes forever to get someone on the telephone only to tell you, you have missed the deadline for returns and he just made $70.00 off of you. I too, thought I was pretty astute about scams, but I have to admit he got me. I was madder than hell. I agree that he should be put in jail and apparently plays just below the radar of the law to keep him from being prosecuted. He has made millions of dollars off innocent victims thinking they are getting something for just S& H. Of course if the truth be known just paying the $6.95 he is probably still making millions of that number because it only takes pennies to produce a cd and it does not cost $6.95 to mail this document since he probably gets the bulk rate from the Post Office. Hope the attorney general does something about him soon.

Ordered E-Bay tape, agree to pay shipping and handling only. Fine, now they have sent 2 more tapes at $129.95 each and automatically charged our bank account without permission. Access card was cancelled 10/27/2008. Today another tape showed up not ordered.
